Novatium products works on Desktop Utility Delivery Model. With DUDM, users will have the desktop, but computing is availed as a service. A central remote server at Novatium stores all the applications in the PC and users data. Nothing is stored in the PC, unless users opt for a unit with internal storage (Nova Navigator+, Nova Neon has inbuilt 160GB Hard Disk memory) . Novatium also takes care of all software and their upgrades, including anti-virus. It also backs up all the users data. Novatium devices consumes 50W of power (against an average of about 150 - 200W for a normal PC) and it also doesn’t require an air-conditioned environment.
